September opens on a Saturnian note, so it’s back to the real business of life – no frills, nothing fancy. Saturn aspects are never easy, but they are purposeful so try to extract the positive from this week’s developments. Jupiter is also in the mix, so a family or property matter could be at the heart of events. It is a good time to sign on the dotted line and to make an important decision related to your future, but the wrong time for quick-fix solutions or a wait-and-see approach. What you’re looking at is the reality.

Friday’s lunar eclipse cuts across the axis of creativity and collaboration so you could be about to bring something beautiful into being. On the other hand, since full moons are synonymous with closure, the end of a beautiful friendship could lie ahead. Uranus is also in the mix so there is a surprise element to events. Whether that surprise is fabulous or not so much, it’s what you decide to do about it that counts. You have more power than you think to influence what is happening at the moment, but the more prepared you are to change your tactics, the better.

Venus makes her annual visit to the area of partnerships, encouraging you to follow your heart and to have confidence in offers and agreements. We can always learn from the past, but we don’t want to be bound by it, so give someone a chance to get to know you. Mid-month, Venus meets with Pluto raising passions, which is great if you’re thrilled with what’s happening but not so great if someone pulls the rug out from beneath you. On or near the 26th it may be difficult to see the reason behind a baffling development so avoid making a judgement until you do.

This is the second year running that the astrology is like nothing we’ve seen before, which means you have to be flexible and philosophical about what comes or goes. For many, it’s a year when family comes first and for others it’s about expanding your territory, whether in the sense of spreading your influence or a bigger and better home and more people with whom to share it! There could be a lot of travel, especially in the first six months, and some of you will embark on a course to increase your knowledge or add to your bank of skills.
