ARIES
If there’s one thing Aries hates it’s being stopped in its tracks, and with Mercury now in retrograde, going forward with plans and projects could prove a tad frustrating. Indeed, when Jupiter turns retrograde on Tuesday, there will be a total of five planets heading over old ground. None of these planets changes its nature or its properties, but it does mean that a subtle shift is taking place which may first reveal itself in your uncertainty about whether you are going about one or more situations in the right way. You will be picking up signals and probably misinterpreting them. Don’t panic.

ARIES
Talk about the sparks flying. The fifth of November (Bonfire Night) is ablaze with a Mars-Uranus opposition and a full moon – enough to set fire to anything that has been languishing in the sidings. On the other hand, you may want to do your best to avoid inflaming a situation that was puttering along nicely for the time being! Use your fire power discerningly. In this kind of climate things take off like a rocket or burn to a crisp. Enough already with the euphemisms, just go carefully. Something wonderful may come out of events, but upsets, if they happen, could leave lasting damage.

Keeping things simple is a great idea, putting it into practice – a little more difficult. Prepare for delays, complications and the occasional U-turn. And we’re not just talking travel. There is far more to someone’s behaviour than meets the eye. People could be testing you out to see if you’re worthy of their support or whether they can manipulate you in some way. And you’re going to have to dig deep to uncover the truth, even the truth of your own feelings. Avoid making snap decisions, especially if they involve finances. However, with care, this could be an excellent month for money.

The Year Ahead for Aries
It’s time to dream big and bring dreams into reality. Neptune, the bridge to the higher realms, enters your sign on 30 March encouraging you to believe in your ability to manifest your ambitions and desires … Venus will be in your sign for Valentine’s Day – perfect for an engagement or wedding… April is a tricky period all round. With Mars opposed to Pluto, there could be power struggles and professional challenges to meet. This is not the time to issue ultimatums unless you are prepared to carry them out. By contrast, with a huge effort, you’ll achieve the breakthrough you’ve needed for so long.
