There are now five planetary bodies in the area of career and life-direction, and one of them is Pluto, the planet of transformation. Especially if you have an April birthday or planets and points between 2 and 5 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo and Aquarius, during the next couple of weeks, you could reach a crossroads. One of your options will have run out and, of course, you cannot go backwards, so you still have a choice but possibly not the one you want. It is at times like this that you come to know who you really are and whether or not you have what it takes to fulfil your potential, if not your dreams.

The focus continues to be on far horizons, whether in terms of distant places or long-term objectives. If you’re not heading to foreign parts or interacting with people far away, this would be the ideal time to start working on your long-range plans. Making a start is the hard part; once you’ve set the ball rolling, you’re on your way. Jupiter remains in charge ensuring that the climate is upbeat so don’t lose out on this opportunity to get ahead in all senses of the phrase. Next Tuesday, begins a six-week period of volatility, which even if enjoyable is likely to interfere with normality.

In an ideal world you’d be jetting off to distant parts and acquiring a whole new outlook, but even if you’re on home turf, by the end of January, you’ll have a very different perspective on one or more situations. What happens on and around the 23rd is going to open your eyes to some new and potentially welcome possibilities. However, you may not appreciate that at the time. Maybe someone has been keeping a secret from you or waiting until the right time to tell you how they feel or the plans they have. In whatever way the earth moves, you’ll be standing tall.

The Year Ahead for Taurus
This is the second year running that the astrology is like nothing we’ve seen before, which means you have to be flexible and philosophical about what comes or goes. For many, it’s a year when family comes first and for others it’s about expanding your territory, whether in the sense of spreading your influence or a bigger and better home and more people with whom to share it! There could be a lot of travel, especially in the first six months, and some of you will embark on a course to increase your knowledge or add to your bank of skills.
