Mars has been squaring up to Pluto for the past few days so already you may have experienced some pushback. There are two ways to approach such a powerful aspect, first, to embrace it and get rid of something you really do not need or accomplish a task that requires great physical, mental or spiritual effort and, second, to allow events to do their work and take you onto a new trajectory. April birthdays are the most likely to benefit from the tremendous breakthroughs that can happen now or to have to turn around some aspect of their existence, but if you feel in the grip of fate, Pluto has you by the tail!

Mars enters your sign encouraging you to make bold moves and have confidence in yourself and your abilities. That said, you don’t want to give in to your anger or outrage and take a verbal swipe at someone. Hold your fire until you have a laser-like focus on your target. Especially if you have a late April birthday or planets and points around 5 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo and Aquarius, you are in a year of transition with some huge highs and lows, and what is happening at this time will form a big part of that journey.

May opens on a full moon empowering you and encouraging you to end practices and alliances that are draining your energies thereby preventing you from fulfilling a long-held ambition. You can’t move mountains without generating a lot of rubble, so be prepared for some push-back on and around the 6th. Money may be the reason you are reluctant to make an almighty move, but you will find alternative sources of income and funding. Do your best to get arrangements sorted and contracts signed by the 30th. Thereafter the momentum fades.

This is the second year running that the astrology is like nothing we’ve seen before, which means you have to be flexible and philosophical about what comes or goes.
