ARIES
When Venus and Jupiter conjoin, joy and success are the outcome. While all your troubles may not be over, by the end of the week you should have at least one reason to feel good about life. Friends, family, great times and positive thoughts could all make this a week to remember. Then again, even without such things, you could take advantage of this astrological tail wind and make a move intended to make you happier and more successful. August is, by and large, a difficult month, so make hay while the sun shines!

ARIES
This may not be the easiest week on record, but you can make it purposeful. Mars enters your opposite sign beefing up your fighting spirit but also creating a breeding ground for arguments and conflicts. Technically, it will be others who are in hot pursuit of you, whether they love you to bits or you’ve got under their skin, so do your best to keep your temper under control. The reason the early part of August is extra-challenging is that Mars is opposing the Saturn-Neptune conjunction, which means you may not be seeing the full picture and are more easily discouraged and on the defensive.

Be prepared to go via the pretty route. In large part this refers to travel, which until the 11th could involve delays and detours but events could also be cancelled or postponed and it may take longer to reach agreements. Especially in early August, make sure you have all the facts, and if you’re unsure about anything, hold the phone! On the plus side, people will be pursuing you with intent whether for work or romance, and offers and opportunities arising around the 12th should be seized with both hands. While fate may play a big part in your life, it’s what you do about events that matters.

The Year Ahead for Aries
It’s time to dream big and bring dreams into reality. Neptune, the bridge to the higher realms, enters your sign on 30 March encouraging you to believe in your ability to manifest your ambitions and desires … Venus will be in your sign for Valentine’s Day – perfect for an engagement or wedding… April is a tricky period all round. With Mars opposed to Pluto, there could be power struggles and professional challenges to meet. This is not the time to issue ultimatums unless you are prepared to carry them out. By contrast, with a huge effort, you’ll achieve the breakthrough you’ve needed for so long.
