Venus moves to the midheaven of your solar chart all set to bring a little more love into life over the next four weeks. Career and your place in the world (which can apply to home affairs) are going to be the chief beneficiaries of this transit, so if you want to get ahead now is the time to start making moves. This week, Neptune is opposing Venus and although this can create a very romantic atmosphere and inspire acts of compassion and selflessness, it can also generate confusion, even inspire a loss of some description. Remain positive about your future but before you buy into a conspiracy theory, do your research.

Tuesday’s full moon flanks the axis of life-direction making it one of the more significant full moons of the year, especially if your birthday falls on or near 6 January. This could mark an achievement that has been many moons in the making or it could preside over an ending that you did not expect. Full moons inspire closure, sometimes in a welcome way and at other times not so much. Career, on the one hand, and home and family, on the other, are in the mainframe, and however that theme of closure and completion expresses itself, the sooner you get your head around it, the easier it will be.

If you have aspirations, October is the time to manifest them. People in positions of power need to be aware of your talents and skills or at least they need to know you exist! Likewise, go to the top for answers. No risk, no reward should be your mantra. A change of work or home location is on the cards for some; for others it’s about getting the right life-work balance. And for a few, issues regarding a parent or elderly relative come to a head, probably on or near the 7th. You’re going to be making some important decisions this month, and a contract may well be involved.
