Friday’s new moon, like all new moons, inspires new beginnings, and since the area of home and family is in the frame, that new start may well have to do with things of a domestic or property nature. However, at the same time, Mars is conjunct Neptune and Saturn adding a layer of uncertainty to events. Maybe some paperwork failed to be completed or perhaps there’s a hold-up on funds – factors that can be overcome, albeit not instantaneously. On the other hand, you could be nurturing deep doubts over a situation and questioning the right move. If in doubt, don’t.

Home and family continue to be the priority, whether you are spending time with loved ones or dealing with domestic issues and implementing changes on the home front. On Thursday, Mars arrives at the base of your chart and will bring its passion and energy to all things of a familial and property nature. In many ways, Mars is to be welcomed here because projects that have been on hold or situations that have proved difficult to resolve may start to move, however, this planet is approaching Neptune and Saturn so a degree of caution is advised. Promises may not be worth the paper they are written on.

A full moon within days of the New Year sets the tone for 2026. It is a year in which there will be many endings but also some glorious beginnings. Jupiter continues to bring good people into your life, whether for business, friendship or romance, and it is the year of marriage for many Capricorns… There is a strong focus on family too and on finding your roots whether that means tracing your ancestry or getting a (new) home. And in the process of a home move or a family gathering information could surface that casts a new light on the past.
