Relinquishing control does not mean you’ve given up. There’s a difference. In order to keep a promising situation from going under, maybe you need to alter your position or yield to someone else’s opinions and desires. By taking the heat out of a situation, you allow for reason to rise above emotion. Part of the problem may be that events are moving too fast and not allowing you time to mull them over, but you have good instincts, Cancer, and if you follow them, you’ll end up in the right place. This is a volatile period for the whole zodiac, and it can only help when some of us keep our heads while others are losing theirs.

As January ends, already you may have experienced a major shift or witnessed events that have altered your long-or-short-term horizons, but if you are still wondering whether you should act on a developing situation, the answer is yes. On the one hand, you can use these influences to set you on a path to a much-desired goal; on the other, you may decide that a window of opportunity is not worth the risk. One thing is for sure, you cannot ignore signs of success or distress. These alignments will never come again in this exact form, so everything that is happening now serves a greater purpose.
