The good news is that Mercury will turn direct on Saturday. And the bad news? It’s still going to be impeding travel and communications throughout the working week. Aside from the usual advice: leave early for your journeys and have a back-up plan, keep your cool should other people prove unaccommodating if not seriously obstructive. Pour soothing oil on troubled waters. For some Sagittarians, this is a week of romantic highs and welcome surprises; for others, it is a period when a relationship may take quite a battering.

If you like fast-paced weeks with many happenings – some of them completely random – you’re going to love the next few days. Just before the Sun enters your sign (Saturday) it opposes Uranus, the bringer of change and the unusual. It’s good to have new ideas and to look at situations with a different pair of eyes, but it’s not so good to leap into the void without checking that you have a parachute on your back. Also, while you may be happy to have plans changed at the last minute or to make a controversial move, other people may not be made of the same stuff.

Putting in the effort doesn’t always guarantee results, but the harder you push in December, the further you’ll go. Mars is on side until the 15th inspiring you onward and upward, and thereafter will help you make money and expand your self-worth. Good things happen when Venus is in your sign, and this is one of the best months of the year for romance and receiving backing and support. Don’t be discouraged if, around the 4th and 16th, things don’t go as well as you hoped, there’s a reason for a delay or a refusal: it’s saving you from heartache further down the line.
