It may not be possible to see the purpose behind current events, first and foremost because the Sun and Mercury are moving through the most obscure area of your solar chart. The right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing! Or maybe you’re feeling left out of the loop. Even though information could emerge that reveals what has been going on behind the scenes, it may serve to confuse rather than clarify. The answer is to hold still for the time being and wait until you have solid evidence that something is the way you fear or hope it is.

Venus is just beginning her transit of your sign, but already you may be feeling the benefit of her presence. Maybe situations look a lot better than they did or perhaps you are feeling more upbeat; on the other hand, love could be in the air. Friday’s full moon brings a sense of an ending into the mix, whether you feel you have come through a challenging period or a situation is all but over. Take a little alone time if you can because the Sun is currently moving through the area of secrets and shadows and your unconscious mind could have some important insights to deliver, which it can best do through dreams and moments of contemplation.

Until the 21st it may be difficult to steer events in the direction you want, so avoid revealing your hand or relying on hearsay. Make sure you have alternative plans, whether for a special occasion or a major undertaking, not only because of last moment changes but because not everyone can be relied upon to fulfil their obligations. The writing may already be on the wall for a working or romantic relationship, and the weekend of the 30th could prove pivotal to its future. Like all full moons on the relationship axis (31st) they inspire both unions and separations.

If there is a theme for the year ahead it is going where you’ve never gone before, whether this means changing your tactics and opinions or quite literally making journeys to foreign parts. Aim to tick off at least one of those items on your dream-list. Travel is a big theme for the next couple of years, as is being closer to your family. There are family gatherings to look forward to and the potential for an age-old rift to be healed… Those of you with May birthdays are first in line for exciting developments, but if the earth beneath you shifts, you can point the finger at planet Uranus.
