The Week Ahead for Sagittarius

2012 is an inspiring year, by which I mean, you will experience powerful impulses that send you off on new and diverse tangents. You may change career course, begin a creative enterprise, go half-way round the world for a new-found passion or suddenly, and for no clear reason, become disenchanted with your life, with no idea how to fix it. Inspiration and disillusion stem from Neptune’s arrival at the base of your horoscope – the very roots of life. In stark contrast, from June onwards, Jupiter will be in a premium position, creating fabulous opportunities and expanding your life in the best of ways. There could be some extraordinary twists of fate, especially around 20th May, 4th June and 28th November, and although you cannot act with impunity, you will feel that you are being guided and protected. Children are also a special focus for 2012. As to why, you’re just going to have to wait and see.

A year with three eclipses on the relationship axis and Jupiter’s presence in the seventh house spells e-v-e-n-t-f-u-l. Never one to hold back, if you’re pushed too far this year, you’ll snap, and if you find the passion of a lifetime, you won’t care what you have to do to keep it. Talk about burning bridges... Venus, the planet of love, will spend five months in the zone of relating (April through July) so you cannot blame the planets for failing to deliver; the caveat being that if your love life does not need fixing, nothing will change. Good people will enter your life in 2012, whether they become great friends, amazing supporters or turn out to be the love of your life. However, you must be careful not to throw everything up for someone who is secretive about their past or unwilling to introduce you to friends and family. It’s one thing to be divinely in love; another to lose your sense of self and your shirt!

You are the great entrepreneur of the zodiac, so should you be in a corporate situation or a 9 till 5 job, don’t be surprised if you become increasingly frustrated with your lot. 2012 is the year to take a chance, provided you have the talent and the passion to follow it through. And should events conspire to close off an avenue of income, be very philosophical about it: with Jupiter on side you will replace what you have lost – and in spades. Finance and property are tricky areas for the whole zodiac but you seem to be in a pattern where a deal comes up that looks solid but falls apart at the last moment. There’s not a lot you can do about this, except, perhaps to put plans on hold for selling/purchasing a property, and refuse to commit yourself wholeheartedly to a financial project until the cheque-book is on the table. There is growth this year but you will have to marry your optimism and enthusiasm with reality.
