Easter comes in with a fantastic planetary fanfare – enough to blow you away, and certainly to make this mid-April period a blast. Hopefully, you’ve given yourself some wiggle-room in case your plans have to be changed at the last minute, and if you’re already less than thrilled with someone it’s going to take all your powers of endurance to smile sweetly every single day.
On the plus side, events could take you on a journey that you’ll never forget, but on the minus side, you may have to burn a bridge. Trust your instincts, Leo: as you know, when you operate from the heart there are never any mistakes: it’s only when pride and revenge get a look-in that things go downhill fast.

Just worship and adore me. Or else
April’s events are likely to have far-ranging implications. On the one hand you could be travelling some distance and exposed to some marvellous experiences, and on the other what happens, especially around Easter, could have an impact on your future. This is a month of great change, and although you may enjoy many of the events set to take place you will need to build in plenty of wiggle room. By which I mean some of those events may turn out very differently from expectations, and back-up plans are advised. Your words have great power now which can work well for you in that people will be impressed by your ideas and therefore keen to employ you but words used in the heat of the moment could destroy a relationship. Your first response to an unexpected development is probably not the right one, so count to ten before firing your rockets! The solar eclipse of the 29th augers a new life-chapter first and foremost on the career front.
Which would you like first: the good news or the bad? Well, the bad - or rather the trying - is that Saturn continues to add to your responsibilities, first and foremost in the way of family members who require time and care, and second causing frustrations with domestic and property matters. But the good comes in the form of Jupiter’s arrival in your sign (16 July).
It has been 12 years since this planet graced Leo, so looking back at the period of August 2002-July 2003 will give you a rough idea of what to expect. Jupiter will boost your confidence and hope for the future; it will generate success and an overall sense of well-being.
You can make big journeys under Jupiter, whether you fly to distant parts of the world, expand your life by adding to the family, purchasing a larger home or taking a lead role of some description. Put a ring around the period of 20 July – 28 August, which promises to deliver the best that 2014 can offer.
It’s not every year a full moon occurs in Leo on Valentine’s Day. Full moons either promote union or separation, so this is going to be an interesting and certainly decisive February for many Leos. The 14th February, 29 March, 16 August, and 13 December would all be perfect days to tie the marital knot however, if a relationship is failing you’re likely to feel it most at these same times.
The best advice I can give you for a happy love-life in 2014 is not to put pressure on partners or someone you would like to be your partner. Ride over the rough spots with humour, and never be needy or questioning. Jupiter has good things in store for you over the next couple of years, and it may be that you will meet your future mate in a place far from home or he or she will come from another culture.
As always there’s an element of fate to whom we fall in love with, so drop that list of must-haves and open your heart to the infinite possibilities in front of you.
You only need a little drop of Jupiter to find a modicum of success, and from July onwards you have more than a drop. Obstacles that have delayed your progress and caused you to abort projects should soon become a trend of the past, and instead doors will open and you’ll be able to believe in yourself and your talents. The eclipse patterns of the year fall in the areas of life-goals in general and education, publishing, travel and media in particular.
All Leos have the potential to be a star and most gravitate to the spotlight whenever possible, but during your long term of trial you have learned humility and patience, which is all grist to your mill. With Neptune continuing its long journey through the key financial zone, there is a warning light over business partnerships and a partner’s income: unless a deal is watertight don’t go forward.
And never forget that however lovely your business partner or life partner may be now; should things go wrong you will be facing your fiercest enemy.
