Mid-May could be proving to be one for the record books, but should you be complaining that nothing ever happens there’s a small matter of an eclipsed full moon to come. Emotions are likely to be running high, especially over the weekend, and while this may well be due to the happiest of events a situation that has been threatening to bubble over could do just that.

This eclipse falls on the relationship axis, making this the perfect time to say “I do” or to do all for love – not necessarily the same thing. While there is always an element of choice as to which of two paths we might take, on this occasion you could be forgiven for thinking that fate has given you very little option.

The Month Ahead for Gemini

It’s not like you to feel vulnerable and confused but as the month opens a cluster of planets in the mysterious 12th house spreads a curtain of fog over certain aspects of your life. Those doubts have practical solutions, which you will come to see well before the end of May. Step back, rest up and wait for the mist to clear. When you’re back to full power you’ll wonder why you were so concerned. From the 9th lovely Venus will be bathing you in your most attractive light and setting the stage for a romantic occasion, and certainly some loving exchanges. Some Geminis could meet the love of their lives this year, and with a lunar eclipse on the relationship axis during the weekend of the 25th, this period has much to offer in the way of awakenings of the heart. Indeed, May as a whole will inspire more than one epiphany.

Jupiter has been with you for the past nine months, and, with three more to go, there are still great opportunities lying ahead. Indeed, you could see the spring as a “final push”. It may take until late June before you decide on a specific course of action or events could lead to a somewhat inevitable conclusion.

A relationship begun just before Christmas should have developed enough by May or early June for you to bind your lives together permanently. And vice-versa, it may be evident that the relationship has run its course. Eclipses bring us to important life-crossroads, and if you meet someone in the May-June period, he or she is going to have a huge effect on you.
