The Week Ahead for Sagittarius

A total solar eclipse in the area of far horizons opens up new territory, both in terms of travel and experience. In the coming weeks, a trip to a distant or unfamiliar place could inspire changes to your long-term agenda. And there could be other reasons why you begin to look at where your life is headed. Events that happen on and around the time of an eclipse can turn out to be much more important than they initially seem, so don’t dismiss a casual statement or some other unusual development as “just one of those things”. Everything is happening for a reason.

In an ideal world, you’d be off on your travels and exploring unfamiliar territory, but even if boarding a plane and jetting off to parts unknown is not on your agenda, the theme of expanding horizons is playing long and loud. It is time to look at the bigger picture and to get some of the issues that are perplexing you into a better perspective. Good work can be done creating blueprints for the future and setting existing plans in stone. A solar eclipse is on its way so another tip for the week ahead is to attend to minor irritants before they become major upsets.

August 2026
What started out as a possibility in January could become a reality in August. In large part this has to do with two eclipses in strategic zones of your solar chart. The first (12th) opens up new territory and may well involve travel or people and places abroad. The second (28th) brings the curtain down on an important chapter of your life. A home move could be in the offing and/or changes in your job and status. Leave plenty of room in your planner for unexpected developments, especially late in the month, and make sure you have backed up all your systems.

The Year Ahead for Sagittarius
This is a better year than last. Ruler Jupiter’s presence in the area of money and assets will help finances in the first part of 2026, and from July it will be expanding your horizons every which way. Where you may experience the greatest challenge is relationships. People you believed would always be there for you disappoint, and a relationship you thought would last forever could at the very least go through a rocky patch… Keep your eyes trained on 3 March and 28 August for events that come out of the blue and change your plans, not necessarily in an unwelcome fashion.
