The Week Ahead for Virgo
Monday, 20 May – Sunday, 26 May
Start the drumroll. Roll out the red carpet. Jupiter is set to arrive on the Midheaven of your solar chart, marking the beginning of a twelve-month period of growth and achievement. You may travel far and wide, begin a new and successful endeavour and you may even see your name in lights or at least experience your fifteen minutes of fame. On the minus side, Jupiter can inflate problems, so you’ll need to be on the alert for any situations that are getting out of hand, but from time to time, you will feel glad to be alive. With this in mind, could it be time to bring an end to a sad saga?

Well, this is different. And different can prove game-changing. Whether you are loving this ever-shifting landscape or feeling deeply disturbed by events over which you have no control, there will be benefits to come. And I say this because Jupiter is in the mix, and something good always comes out of Jupiter-inspired events. Maybe not immediately, but along the way. Next week, this planet of expansion will reach the highest point in your solar chart from where it will encourage growth, particularly regarding your career, but it will also protect and provide for you in this challenging period.

Expanding horizons is May’s starry theme. One long journey for some, lots of travel for others and, in general, going the distance in terms of your aims and desires is recommended. Jupiter, the planet of growth, begins a year-long transit of the area of career and life-direction, enhancing your job prospects and inspiring overall life improvements. Sound too perfect to be true? Well, not everything will go according to plan, especially on or near the 13th, but as with all Uranian influences, when a situation does not work out as you expect, your ingenuity kicks in and you end up with something even better.

The Year Ahead for Virgo
Some of the best opportunities lie in distant places… Late March, early June, mid-September and Christmas are all points at which much could change, and for the better… You might fall helplessly in love, but once the spell has broken, you may find your prince or princess is a frog! By contrast, if love is true, that love will grow into something lasting and your lover, even if he or she has webbed feet, will be loved for who they truly are… Often we do not realize when we’re in a golden period and fail to embrace opportunities when they arise. Only later do we see that the better time we were waiting for has come and gone. Seize that moment.
