The Week Ahead for Capricorn
Monday, 20 May – Sunday, 26 May
Do you live to work or work to live? With Jupiter’s arrival in the sixth house, lack of work won’t be a problem in the foreseeable future. During the course of the next twelve months, your efforts over the past decade or so should bear fruit, whether your income increases or your reputation rises. Good health could be another reason why the coming year will be one of growth. The only danger with Jupiter is that you can have too much of a good thing so health issues can magnify, as may problems at work or in regard to finding work. Thursday’s full moon brings closure and a sense of completion.

We are far from Capricorn country this week. Uranus is in charge of cosmic affairs so the climate is edgy and unpredictable. While you may prefer to be prepared and go via the tried and tested route, you’re going to have to busk it. Obey your gut and enjoy the challenge of the new and the different. And while travel could be top of the list when it comes to unexpected diversions, conversations and meetings could also be the source of surprises. As for romance, we’re working with two very opposite principles: sudden attractions and unexpected break-ups.

The secret to happiness is to be yourself, and May’s stars give you the opportunity to take the spotlight and show what a unique and gifted person you are. There is no need to embellish your CV or follow other people’s example, simply do what feels right for you. And this advice applies to your love-life every bit as much as your career and social activities. Also, don’t wait to be invited to take the lead, put yourself forward and assume control. It may seem as though everything you need or want is taking forever, but, like the minute hands on a clock, look away and time magically moves forward. This is a metaphor for 2024. Make your pitch, get all your ducks in a row and wait for the universe to move… There is always an element of fate about whom we fall in love with and where a relationship takes us, but in these times, there is an even greater aura of destiny about love… You are likely to become more concerned about where you are headed in life. To this end, you may decide that you need to learn a new skill or acquire deeper knowledge about a particular subject.
