When Jupiter and Uranus come together, it’s time to party. Fireworks, champagne, caviar – you name it — as long as it’s a once-in-a-decade extravaganza it’ll fit the bill. Rather more seriously, this is a conjunction of extremes: the good will be absolutely fabulous and the bad… What you probably don’t want to do in this astrological climate is take a risk with life and limb. Keep something in reserve, do nothing on impulse. In a little over a month, Jupiter will enter your opposite sign setting the stage for a year of growth and opportunity, so no need to make a panic move now.

The notion of making a fresh start on a retrograde Mercury may seem counterproductive, but Monday’s total solar eclipse does indeed signal a new start, and one that can begin later in April, or even beyond. Eclipses do not necessarily deliver their message on the day. You are simply put on notice that life will change in the near future and now would be a good time to consider winding down certain situations that are time-consuming and not conducive to your growth and aspirations. And with Mars and Saturn in conjunction, you may discover that the universe has beaten you to it…

It’s play time! The area of pleasure is in the mainframe so, even if you aren’t taking a holiday or enjoying a flourishing social life, make space for those things that do your heart good. And that could include romance. Should someone enter your life now, he or she could be the real thing and they’ll certainly have an impact on your future. Likewise, an established love-affair could undergo a transformation. The all-important Jupiter-Uranus conjunction (21st) represents opportunity in a bottle, although time is up for a situation that has reached its sell-by date.
