| Libra - Summer 2008 |
GENERAL
Not a lot of people realize how ambitious you are but you're in high-achievement mode these next three months and set to impress the best of them. In July, the sun's passage through the life-direction zone will put you in the spotlight, whether in terms of your personal or professional life while the transit of Mars in Libra (19 August – 4 October) will help you overcome any and every obstacle standing in your path. Yes, there will be periods in the summer when you can take time out (22nd July – 6 August is one) but even then you'll be preoccupied with your future and getting where you want to be. Don't expect life to run according to plan in August – a plan may be derailed but a window of opportunity will appear almost immediately.
LOVE
Love affairs begun in the spring reach a turning point in the summer. In some cases love will have proved blind, deaf and dumb to reality but for others real and abiding love will emerge out of the haze of hormones, and a life together can be planned. It seems you are at a point in your life where your expectations and standards are higher than ever – you want a soul-mate, someone who reflects your innate good taste and your aspirations – and under August's and September's powerful astro-scape you will take steps to secure what you already hold precious or you will set out to find that person. The periods of the 13th -17th and 28th-31st August could prove crucial in this regard.
WORK AND FINANCE
The new moon of 3rd July ushers in a fresh chapter for your career, which may well be marked by a change of job and certainly new thoughts on where you're headed. This is an exceptionally good month to seek new employment and to invest heavily in your talents. The period around 9th July is very promising and a leap of faith should be taken then. Money and property are well-connected so be confident about any sales or purchases you may make in the summer, and don't exaggerate a financial glitch – it will be resolved. Starting an enterprise from home is the way to go for some Libras and the areas of greatest potential are the food industry, interior design/property and baby-child enterprises.
HOME AND LIFESTYLE
With Jupiter in the area of home and family this is the big growth area for 2008. Maybe you have made an upwardly-mobile house move already but if not there are six months to go... And Libra is top of the heap when it comes to adding to the family in terms of babies and in-laws. To a certain extent you have less time for the family and domestic life in the summer – Mars wants you to go-places in terms of material and professional success as opposed to relaxing and pleasure-seeking – but you can successfully channel your energies wherever you choose. Keep an eye on your stress levels, however, and check out any health anomalies as soon as they appear.
