GENERAL
Half way through the year and you are already kicking over the ashes of the old and wondering where you go from here or you will be watching the shoots of the new beginning to emerge. This theme is most likely to be present in relationships, whether people have left your life due to circumstances beyond their control or because rifts and separations have occurred. Thus, you can think of the summer as a time of healing, of coming back to yourself. By contrast people whom you have not seen for years make a welcome return, and in consequence you may add an unexpected trip to your summer schedule. Try not to become frustrated at the slow pace of life: from late August events gather momentum and you'll be back at the helm.
LOVE
If the summer fails to live up to romantic expectations do not give up on your stars – they have big plans for you from mid-October. Many Geminis are in the process of regrouping, even licking their wounds, so a throbbing sex life may be off the agenda. On the other hand, if the powerful influences of late February and mid-June ushered in a new relationship this will deepen during the summer and an engagement may be forthcoming, possibly in August. This late summer month marks a release from restricting emotional patterns – and in some cases, an unhappy relationship. WORK AND FINANCE
Hopefully, 2008 has already lived up to its promise to be a year when money comes to you in unexpected ways but, if not, wait and see what Jupiter can produce in mid-July. This is an enriching period all round and an excellent time to make new financial commitments and long-term investments. Career-wise, Uranus continues to be the wild-card creating fantastic openings for some Geminis and bringing an abrupt end to a job for others, and, in general, this area of life is full of change and excitement. Watch for signs and signals in early and late August – the fortunes of a company you work for could alter dramatically, or someone of power and influence could be looking to make you an offer you won't want to refuse..
HOME AND LIFESTYLE
Home will hardly be a place of rest during the summer: thanks to a Mars transit either you'll be sharing your four square walls with the builders and decorators or there will be a constant stream of visitors. The changes that occur in the home are symptomatic of the growth you are seeking in your life generally so even in a minor way the steps you take to improve your living conditions can only be a good thing. However, with all this activity you will have to watch a trend for minor upsets, especially with teenagers and neighbours. Sports are part of your summer agenda and you'll do well in competitive activities. A social event on or near 9th September could mark the start of a beautiful friendship, either for personal or professional reasons.
