GENERAL
The second half of the year is entirely different from the first: in part this is to do with the absence of Pluto, which occupied your sign between January and June but it is also because other people have a much greater influence on your life during this quarter. 2008 continues to be a year of growth and opportunity and now such things come to you through the kindness, love and approval of others. You might like to think of these developments as payback for your efforts in the past. July is the most dynamic and opportunity-laden month with the 3rd, 9th and 18th looking outstanding. Travel there is in abundance and this is the summer to head to the opposite side of the globe, or at least a part of the country you've never seen before. A summer of adventure and expansion awaits.
LOVE
If you've been hoping to make a proposal or receive one, the summer is the time to look your best! July is all about setting relationships on a new course and celebrating love. Choose the 3rd for the most perfect day of all... Many Capricorns are discovering that the single life has its limitations and that a safe but soulless, sexless relationship is no life at all, thus, under the summer sun new love will be found – then you'll know what those eclipses of the 1st and 16th August are all about. Under no circumstances allow yourself to be emotionally blackmailed by someone who is neither your match nor a person of great worth. Your liberation and your fulfilment are in your hands, with a bit of help from destiny.
WORK AND FINANCE
Under these stars failure is not an option: aside from luck playing a big part in your progress, you should have the confidence to promote yourself and your talents. From 19th August you have Mars helping you take on big challenges and bringing out your competitive streak. And if people do not grant you the opportunity you believe you deserve be courageous enough to vote with your feet. Business enterprises blossom during the summer, although your plans may get a shake-up at the beginning or end of August. (Nothing you cannot overcome, though.) However, while it is a boom time for your professional life, finances fluctuate and investments, property and borrowing are under a red light. Also for a few celestial Goats, dealing with an ex-partner will prove costly.
HOME AND LIFESTYLE
You know the old saying: all work and no play make Jack a dull boy? Well, you may need to remind yourself of this should you catch yourself declining social invitations or putting off a planned holiday. The fun you have will translate into the energy you need to resolve any lingering problems and up your success rate. An action-packed vacation in the mountains or a journey to a place of antiquity in a foreign land could be on the agenda, although some Capricorns will be adding to their knowledge and skills, even taking on the role of teacher. And, there could be weddings, engagements and christenings to attend or to put together.
