General
You'll need to think of this year as a time of preparation. The seeds of 2009's big
events are being sown and there will be projects that will take a year or so to be completed.
Not that 2008 is exactly uneventful. You will be surprised at the way an unexpected development
resolves a quandary you have been struggling with for eighteen months or so; indeed, you will be
amazed at the way fate generally takes a hand in your affairs, especially if you have a birthday
around the 30th January or the 7th February. Neptune has the 11th February birthdays in its
slippery grasp, although all Aquarians will have to watch a trend for people backing out of
agreements and seemingly solid situations falling apart at the seams. Also, there is a theme of
sacrifice to consider, whether you are giving up on a one time goal or your favourite
food!Your best month is October; your most difficult, June.
Love
Are you ready to be swept off your feet? Two eclipses, the first on 7th February and the 2nd
on 1st August could bring a powerful new relationship in, although these same eclipses could just
as easily throw a long-established partnership into disarray. The element of destiny, already
strong in your life as a whole, will be particularly apparent in your love life. Not for a long
time has there been such potential to fall deeply in love, and not for a long time have your
powers of compassion and self-sacrifice been so strongly evoked. Your sign is top of the
list when it comes to surprise proposals and weddings in February and you could be particularly
susceptible to the charms of Leos, Scorpios and Taureans.
Money and Work
It is the area of career that the theme of preparation is most relevant. It may be that you have
to continue in a relatively unsatisfactory situation for the time being while you put out feelers
for a job that will truly reflect your talents and expertise, or you may be working on a business
or work project that will take much of the year to complete. Either way, success comes in 2009.
Money could be a little tight, therefore, and for the same reasons it might be better to wait
until 2009 before taking on any major commitments, more specifically investing in property. The
periods of late February/early March and November are the ones to watch for career opportunities
and key financial developments.
Home and Lifestyle
\r\nA quieter, more reflective-you is
apparent this coming year: you need more alone-time and will be drawn to places of peace
and tranquillity, whether for holidays or just in general. There is a greater focus on health and
healing too - not orthodox treatments so much as holistic remedies - and some Aquarians
may join an organization devoted to helping those who suffer. You are less likely to splash out
on family occasions or big budget holidays, choosing instead to entertain at home and make the
most of your domestic space. This would also be an excellent year to adopt a less materialistic
approach to life by exploring more eco-friendly ways of living, which will benefit, not just
you and yours, but the larger community which is so important to Aquarius.
