GENERAL
The secret to a great summer lies in being active, if not outright sporty. Maybe you're already planning to join a climbing party, enrol in a walk for charity or will you be boating and water-skiing? Someone or something is set to get you sprinting through the summer months and even if this just amounts to throwing yourself into children's activities you will feel better and sharper for the effort. There could be a wedding to attend and social events introduce you to people you'll want to keep in touch with. Whatever the real weather does August is full of tempests - hopefully in a tea-pot - but something's got to give at this time, whether you have to reschedule a planned event or accept that a situation is truly done and dusted.
LOVE
Don't be afraid to take the initiative where romance and relationships are concerned. If someone's lost that loving feeling, do all you can to inspire a rally! If you've been waiting for someone to ask you out on a date, you do the inviting (you're irresistible in mid-July). And should a relationship have slumped into a safe bur boring rut, take on some activities that you can do together. You have spirit and charisma this summer and you should not waste these magic particles. Sexual intimacy is the key to overcoming all manner of problems in a relationship, and you have the power to make this happen... The new moon of 14th July ushers in a new cycle for your love-life - forget about history repeating itself; start making it.
WORK AND FINANCE
The Saturn-Neptune opposition has not done you many favours where finances are concerned, and the trend for delays and cut-backs will continue during the summer, although it will fade out in the autumn. It seems the people in whom you have placed your trust have let you down, whether they be partners, ex's or organizations. Far better, therefore, to rely on your own resources. This summer you may have to dig into savings for a special event or to resolve a problem, but you will replenish the coffers in the next couple of years. August sends Mars into the work zone to chivvy things up, so you're work-load will be increased and a shake-up of some sort can be expected.
HOME AND LIFESTYLE
You're a little limited as to your summer options by finance. You have the energy and desire to go places but your money would be better invested in home projects, whether these involve decoration and refurbishment or time with the children and the extended family. Jupiter's position in the secluded twelfth house enables you to find fun in mysterious places, and you may take an even greater interest in mystical subjects or the alternative healing arts. Travel during the second half of August could have its little problems, and should you be heading for a get-away break during this time, be sure to have a back-up plan and a fully-charged cell phone.
