Scorpio - Summer 2005

GENERAL

Mid-July marks the start of one of the most complex but fascinating periods of the past few years - a period that will last some eighteen months. With this in mind, the weeks up to the 18th July can be most usefully spent tying up loose ends and setting down solid foundations of future enterprises. Do your best to have all your ducks in a row by then since the second half of July looks to be the most important part of the summer, whether plans come to fruition or circumstances beyond your control interfere with your perfect agenda! This may not be the most laid-back summer of your existence, but at least you won't be complaining that life is dull.

LOVE

Relationships take centre stage this summer. On 28th July, sexy and feisty Mars enters the area of love and partnership and will remain there, creating sparks of one sort or another, until 17th February 2006. In September Venus joins in the fun, making this one of the premium months of the year for new romances, weddings and engagements. The weekends of 30th July and 17th September make or break a bond, and these are certainly times when you discover the weaknesses and strengths of a relationship. What you may also need to establish is the balance between being loyal and dutiful on the one hand and being romantically and sexually fulfilled on the other...

WORK AND FINANCE

Saturn will transit the area of ambitions and life-direction from this July until mid-2007, and to a large extent this should be a life-defining two years. Success is consolidated thanks to Saturn, so some Scorpios will achieve promotion, add to their reputation or broaden their influence, yet many will also discover where their efforts have been misplaced and that certain routes are no longer appropriate. It is important that you create strong bonds with employers/employees and colleagues now, and especially during the late-July-to mid-August period avoid all or nothing actions. Until October, save rather than spend should be your philosophy.

HOME AND LIFESTYLE

Scorpio usually knows precisely what it wants and tends to achieve what it sets out to do - come hell or high water - but with Neptune at the base of your chart, you may feel less sure of what you want and the plans you do make could have an irritating way of drizzling into nothing. Especially where home, family and lifestyle are concerned, you are best remaining as fluid as possible: you are in a time of transition and much water has yet to flow under the proverbial bridge. Actually, water is a big theme for the summer, whether you spend time on or near the water or you add water features to your home and attend to the plumbing! August is the month for family gatherings and major domestic developments.
