Cancer - Summer 2005

GENERAL

Letting anything or anyone go can be a super-human task for the celestial Crab but there is one exception - saying goodbye to Saturn who has overstayed his welcome in your sign by at least two years. From 18th July, your progress will be onward and upward, and even though you may not instantly experience joy and success, gradually you will notice that you feel freer and lighter, more optimistic and energetic. June and July put you in goal-seeking mode: these are months when you'll be making the big push of 2005 to achieve a major personal or professional ambition. August and September encourage you to stretch your wings, every which way.

LOVE

June puts Venus in your sign and brings romance and relationships to the top of your agenda. The weekend of the 25th represents a turning-point, with some Cancerians, especially those with 15th - 18th July birthdays, tying the knot and others cutting the ties that bind: certainly this late June period is crucial for recognizing what works, what doesn't, who matters and who you can live without. The 18th-22nd July is another life-defining period, and a time to end a long chapter, especially in terms of your love life and close associations.

WORK AND FINANCE

Ambitious Mars will transit the area of ambitions and life-direction between 12th June and 28th July, making this one of the most get-ahead periods of 2005. And with beneficial Venus touring the financial zone at the same time, you could be on a serious winning streak. You will have to be prepared for some opposition - watch the 13th - 15th June, the 22nd - 30th July and the 1st - 16th September, but you should not be deterred from making big job changes and investing in your future in terms of property or your talents. Indeed, 2005 continues to be the year to make upwardly mobile house moves and add to the value of your home.

HOME AND LIFESTYLE

It may take until mid-August before you recognize that there has been a shift in your energy and in your circumstances, but you should take some time out during this month to travel or at least change your routine and your surroundings. The home sees some happy occasions and the family experiences some welcome changes throughout the summer, however, September could produce a small dilemma, most probably in regard to work, although whatever emerges as an unexpected fork in your path should be seen as an opportunity to diversify, not a blot on your life horizons.
