The Month Ahead for Aries
Arians are the pioneers of the zodiac – you go where angels fear to tread, and invariably return with a bruise and a great story – and if ever there was a month to trail-blaze, it is May. But trail-blaze with caution. Aside from the fact that you may have people to see and places to go, which you know are significant to your future, what you say in the heat of the moment and the spontaneous actions you take could leave a lasting blot on the landscape! On the one hand, you need to be very careful of treading on someone’s toes, so keep to the facts and do your research; and, on the other, it will be impossible to rewind the tape, so think carefully before leaping into the dark. Jupiter is spending the last few weeks in the zone of finances and self-worth, so your efforts and investments could finally see a result. Indeed, while there are some large potholes to avoid in May, there are some marvellous moments too.

Renewed hope is the theme of your spring stars, much of it to do with your own determination and ambition. The sun’s entry into your sign (20 March) kicks off the most dynamic period of the year so far. You’ve needed a lot more fizz to life, and, thanks to Uranus you’ve got it. The events of late March and early April set the tone for the rest of the spring, and if you want bring an end to tired old situations there is no better time. Be fearless. During the next three months you’re focusing on what matters to you, building your own future, and not caring too much about who’s with you or behind you. Your attitude seems to be: I’ve waited long enough – I’m taking charge of my own destiny. This having been said, fate’s handprint is clearly going to be on some of spring’s events.
Relationships are all about give and take but it seems you believe you have done more of the giving and something needs to be done about the imbalance. Some Arians will end a long-term relationship in the spring; others will take themselves out of the dating game. In both instances, this is about regaining control of your life. And it is a good thing. When you are independent and feeling whole-within-yourself happiness follows: a relationship will either right itself or the right person will be free to come to you. The full moon of 6 April ends a year-long relationship cycle, and with a sun-Saturn opposition on the 15th, this could be D-day for the future of a love-affair or marriage. Romance is more on the menu in the autumn, but that doesn’t mean you can’t put in a little practice in the spring.
The brilliant sun-Jupiter conjunction of 13th May could do much for your ego and your bank account. Make a financial move on or around this date, and you should see your little empire grow and grow. As you can probably tell from the other two sections of your forecast, the spring is very much about you – what you can do to own your destiny. A change of tactics regarding your career as a whole or the way you deal with a superior, could transform your prospects. A new professional venture could be on its way – watch late May and early June – and travel, international contacts and the worlds of publishing, education and IT could be part of the package. Early-to-mid April is another key period for professional matters. Whatever the appearance of events, someone or something from the past has a part to play in them. Do your research.
