The Week Ahead for Libra

Your term of trial is in its final stages. Saturn exits your sign on 5 October, leaving you an infinitely wiser person; eventually you’ll be richer too – and in every sense of the word. Material increase and personal rewards come your way, especially if you’re prepared to leave your comfort zone and distance yourself from people who have hung onto your coat-tails, thereby impeding your growth. Pluto and Uranus will be focusing their energies on the 24th - 29th September birthdays, but if fate appears to be taking you by the hand, you know where to point the finger. People from other countries play a bigger role in your life, whether for work, friendship or romance, and some Librans will be making the move of a lifetime. The home and family front are another focus for the main events of the year. 2012 may not be easy – late March/early April, late June and late September are a case in point – but you will make huge progress.

Uranus is not the gentlest of influences in the zone of the relationships but he does get you moving. In some cases, this means finally acquiring the momentum to propose (this is a Leap Year, and romantic Venus will be in the seventh house for Valentine’s Day...) or getting the courage to break the Gordian knot! Throw out the rule book, don’t worry about other people’s opinions: it’s your life. Clearly, Saturn requires you meet your responsibilities but that doesn’t mean sacrificing everything. Learn to listen to the voice of your heart. Some Librans will meet a future partner in a foreign land or in a place of learning and antiquity, and there is an even stronger trend for mixed cultural mergers and wide age-gaps. February and November are key months for romance and relationship developments, and if you do decide 2012 is the year to tie the knot, how does 9th October sound?

Saturn issues a note of caution regarding finance. Investment in your talents, whether by financing your own business or acquiring extra skills, is indicated, if not to be encouraged, but this is no time to leave yourself without a safety-net. Have a cash float to counter any potential upsets in the banking systems. Money will be in short supply in 2012, making borrowing more difficult. Your job could take you away from home territory and, if you’ve not already done so, promoting yourself and your work via websites/social networks is at a premium. For a few Librans, an inheritance or a generous settlement is on the agenda, and even though there is a degree of unpredictability to contend with 2012 is a good year to form business partnerships.
