GENERAL

The familiar and the safe may be the Taurean anthem but you're finding a more adventurous side of yourself in 2010. Some roads have run out, whether they be relationships, jobs or belief systems, and you really have no option other than to spread your wings and take off into the unknown. (Indeed, some Taureans will be travelling to the opposite side of the globe.) Pluto's job is to help you transform your life into what it was always meant to be - regardless of the upheaval - and provided you keep remembering this, you'll make huge strides this year. Your list of friends and connections is expanding, and out of a new personal or professional relationship could come a major business or social project. 2010 is not the year to ignore a health issue, but if you're ready to get in the best shape of your life, you have all the astro-power you need.

LOVE

The emphasis is on friendship as opposed to passion. You may still enjoy a great sex life but the real joy will be in discovering what a brilliant team you and your other half make. For some Taureans love will grow out of a platonic association and for others, a friend will introduce you to the right person. A new relationship could well involve taking on a partner's offspring, in which case, this is not going to be an easy fit. You will need to lay down firm boundaries at the outset and balance this out with kindness. Tough love by another name. There is always an element of fate about whom we fall in love with but 2010 is a big karmic year for the planet, so don't be surprised when your eyes alight on someone across a crowded room, and everything changes. Easter is a powerful period for love as is October.

MONEY AND WORK

Saturn is in the early stages of a two-year transit of the work zone so it will be a case of trial by persistence. Your natural inclination is to hang on to a job, regardless of its likeability, but the sacrifices and compromises you are being asked to make could be too great. Consciously or unconsciously you are precipitating changes. If you are out of work, don't get discouraged: you may not find your niche this year but you'll gain much from taking on jobs outside your skill range. This is not the year to resort to the law to resolve a financial issue: accept what you can get and pay what you can. There could be some deception involved in a company's actions but playing David to a Goliath will not be worth the time and the pain.
