GENERAL

The obstacle course you have had to negotiate over the past four years is completed. You have been tested, come through, and the good times lie ahead. LOVE

For many Leos 2009 was a relationship watershed: some long-term liaisons reached the end of their shelf life and new love-affairs were begun; and if you fit into neither of these categories last year was nonetheless a period when you came to understand what love and partnership mean for you. This therefore is the platform upon which the new decade begins: no longer will you settle for second best; you are a strong person and need someone who can love you and live life on equal terms with you. And either you have that person already by your side or he or she is on the way to you. The end of January has a ring of fate about it - it's a time of discovery and denouements; June is another month for key romantic developments, and if you're looking for that special day, choose mid-June.

MONEY AND WORK

There's less uncertainty about money this year, less uncertainty generally, so you will be able to get finances into a manageable shape and make plans. Jupiter's transit of one money zone helps you make wise investments and a major settlement could swell the coffers nicely. The year's eclipses (11 January, 26 June and 7 July) fall on the work axis of your solar chart, so there could be sudden changes of course on or near these dates and new opportunities arising in their wake. While it is in your nature to seek jobs that offer stability and security, you'll find that more independence and flexibility suit the new-you better.
