GENERAL

2010 marks the beginning of a two to three year phase in which life will change big time. An all-important alignment - at its strongest from June to September this year - involving Pluto, Saturn, Uranus and Jupiter- will be affecting key areas of your solar chart. To a certain extent your course is affected by circumstances beyond your control but, especially for the December Cappies and those with planets in the early degrees of your sign, the crossroads that appear will have been self-created. You need to get out of toxic situations - or at least situations that are stifling your talents and personality - but your sense of obligation and fear of the unknown may well be holding you prisoner. The eclipses of 31st December 2009, 15th January and 11th July signify release, and if you have adventure in your soul allow events to unfold without blocking them. In effect, you have the master-key to your own brilliant future.

LOVE

You may be conservative and cautious in love but that doesn't mean you don't have passion and yearnings. Hence one of the crossroads you may reach this coming year involves leaving a long-term relationship or throwing yourself in the deep end by succumbing to a fateful attraction. No one is going to make it easy for you but guilt is not a reason to stay with someone nor to sacrifice what could be a true and lasting love. January is a month of intense developments, as is June, and it may help to remind yourself that the universe responds when we exhibit the courage of the heart. Exceptional circumstances could cause a delay with a romantic event and as a general rule of thumb for 2010, keep your plans loose and your expectations fluid. Two other points to remember: you may not get a second chance and history does not always repeat itself.

MONEY AND WORK

Saturn serves a dual purpose while it transits the zone of career and life-goals: it breeds a lack of appreciation for your efforts and a dearth of opportunity; on the other hand, the harder you work the luckier you get, and this may mean the job of a lifetime with all the attendant responsibilities and demands. It will take until mid-2013 before you can judge whether Saturn helped or hindered your course so do not allow yourself to become disheartened at any point - what doesn't crush you empowers you! This having been said the Jupiter-Saturn opposition of 23 May and 16 August is brilliant for business and growth generally. The end of January looks to be a major turning point - financially and professionally - and the summer with its Uranus-Jupiter theme will inspire sudden changes in fortune.
