Aries - The Year Ahead*

GENERAL

Normally one of the most outgoing members of the zodiac, this summer you are far more introspective and focused on those things close to home, both in the sense of family and your activities. The solar eclipse of the 1st August signals a new creative venture and/or a new person in your life and of all the summer months this is the one with the most potentially life-changing influences. I know you hate that word patience but you are going to have tread water in one or more areas of your existence during the next twelve weeks, although this does not mean you should give up hope where your long-term plans are concerned; it is more a case of waiting for the wheels of bureaucracy to turn and for people and organizations to get their act together. Which they will.

LOVE

Keep your eyes trained on September because this is when a relationship will come into full flower. The 16th - 23rd September represents a key period for romance, although the summer as a whole helps put the past firmly behind you and brings new energy and light into your love life. There are quiet joys to be had with a partner and time spent close to water will prove to be an inspired setting for proposals and planning for the future. July is probably the most fun and, if you're looking to meet someone new, this is the time to use your network of friends and to socialize. Aries is a great mover and shaker but you're about to discover the advantages of letting someone pursue and please you. You know, you might enjoy a back seat position!

WORK AND FINANCE

Pluto and Jupiter will be retrograding through the zone of career and life-goals until early September so this is likely to be the area of life in which much patience and fortitude is required. Either you'll have to work without encouragement or the promotions and openings you were hoping for will prove tantalizingly elusive. However, as soon as there is a crispness in the air, that telephone will start ringing... You stand to make good money this year, and if you are starting your own business or drumming up investment in your talent, you will achieve success by the year's end.

HOME AND LIFESTYLE

Family events will put their signature on the summer. There could be announcements that will mean domestic changes and once again you seem to be using this period of the year for renovation and refurbishment. The sale of a property belonging to a senior member of the family could swell the coffers and the older generation will be the source of enrichment, whether in the sense of good advice or financial gain. For some Arians the prospect of a move abroad will arise, and events on or around the 20th June and/or 20th September could turn out to be significant here. July is the best month for a vacation – August poses many challenges and changes.
